About Me:
Hi! I’m Sarah Sapperstein, a licensed non-denominational wedding officiant based in Chicago, IL. I was ordained through American Marriage Ministries and have continued my ordination education for more than 4 years to support couples in their personalized wedding celebrations.
Sarah’s goal for every wedding is to create a personalized, meaningful, and stress-free celebration of YOUR love and your story, that fits YOUR vision and style.
Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Sarah has spent more than 20 years in Chicago. She holds degrees in Classics/Near Eastern Studies and Musical Theatre from the University of Redlands in Southern California, and a Masters from University of Chicago. These days, she enjoys a dual-career in nonprofit advancement and performing in the city’s thriving arts scene.
Sarah lives on Chicago’s North Side with her partner and a variety of house plants—some of which are even thriving! She enjoys navigating the city’s many neighborhoods for the best food, beverage, museums, and art.
